Charlie Malone joined Bellator Real Estate and Development as a full-time agent. After proving his mettle with over $5M in sales during 2016, he joined forces with his brother and father to strengthen the Malone Team. This came during the Malone family's 50th year in the local real estate business. A
former Naval Aviator, he returned to South Baldwin County after years of
overseas service. A fourth generation
Naval Officer turned third generation Realtor®, he brings years of valuable
experience to the company. He considers
it a great honor to work alongside his father, Bob Malone and his brother and broker, Frank Malone. Having lived and worked overseas, Charlie is
proud to have returned to his Alabama home to continue his career surrounded by the
support of family and friends. He loves
the idea of serving the communities of South Alabama while working with his
wife, Inese (ee-ness-eh).
Charlie’s graduation from Auburn, he started his career in the Navy and served
for 25 years as a P-3 Pilot, Plane and Mission Commander, and the Aircraft
Launch and Recovery Officer for onboard carriers. He later specialized in foreign policy in the
Pacific and with NATO in Europe. He
commanded a Navy guard battalion in Iraq for one year and lived in the U.S.,
Japan, Italy and Belgium. He worked throughout Asia and Europe in over 30
countries. Charlie left the Navy as a Commander.
to South Baldwin County, Charlie grew up around the real estate business,
working from the age of 13 for his father, mother and grandfather. Summer after
summer, he focused on learning how to serve clients in condominium rentals and
beach houses. Charlie graduated from
Foley High School.
Charlie graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor degree in Aviation
Management. In 2001 he went on to attain
his Masters in International Relations from Auburn University at Montgomery
while getting a second Masters in Military Arts and Sciences. Most recently he graduated
in 2011 from NATO Defense College.
Charlie has several
military decorations including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, three
Meritorious Service Medals, Navy Commendation and Achievement Medals, and numerous
unit citations. He was often recognized for leadership and innovation.
in Belgium, Charlie met and married the love of his life, Inese. They were married in October of 2014 at his
parents’ home in Gulf Shores. Inese is a native of Latvia and works with Charlie as his business partner.
Charlie has two adult children and a beautiful grand daughter. His other family
members include a German Shepherd, a Labrador mix breed and an old, but agile cat.
to cook, plays a little guitar and has been in a number of bands as a lead
singer. His musical talent began as a trumpet player with the Foley High School
band (he can still play that thing!). While maintaining his family and hobbies, he
enjoys working out and living a healthy lifestyle.
